Robert is passionate about issues related to immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers and their integration with Calgary. Cocnerned about issues related to housing, poverty and homelessness, and the rise of polarization within Alberta.

By day, Robert works as a Research Associate at the University of Calgary School of Public Policy. Robert’s education background includes a BA (Hon.) of Anthropology, as well as a Master of Public Policy (MPP). Interested in affecting macrolevel changes to policymaking in government, non-profits and the private sector.

Robert’s goal for YYCShapers is to breakdown exclusionary barriers and augment the inclusive economy of Calgary by bridging people of various ethnocultural, religious, national, sexual and gender identities.
